Messenger / contacts showing old information

[Android Central Question]

I run a Galaxy S8 phone from work. It has VM Boxer for outlook work email, but also I use Bluemail for 3 different gmail accounts and messenger for texting. In messenger, when I type in a contact, it shows current information but also old information - old cell numbers, old email addresses etc. I've searched all my contact information for the person in my work contacts, gmail contacts and none show the old cell or email information. I'm not sure where its finding this old information or how to stop it from suggesting old numbers.

You look in Facebook , you use Facebook messenger correct for texting?
