Why does my phone restart when I use the YouTube app?

Whenever I use the YouTube app for a certain amount of time it freezes and completely restarts my phone and what I'm wondering is there any way to fix this???

Yes. It could be a processor or memory problem. Perhaps you don't have enough RAM to run YouTube for long. Depends on the phone, the age of the phone and what version of Android is running. Please join and come back to us with some further information. Thanks.

What are the battery levels before and after reboot?
Will your phone just reboot normally?

Which phone ? Just YouTube app? Try clearing cache,data,force stop it

Welcome to Android Central! Also, assuming YouTube was preinstalled, try using it in Safe Mode and see if it still restarts.

Is the phone really warm when it restarts?
