why tablet stuck in factory reset

[Android Central Question]

Android tablet 4.4.2 KitKat stuck in factory reset erasing , I moved some apps to sdcard via link2sd before starting the factory reset it's not responding I turn it off and back on and it goes back to the Android icon and the word erasing and the blue line showing the process going on and goes on and on hours and overnight , how to fix it ?

did you remove the sd card before restoring? anyway, without knowing what tablet you have it is tough to help
