What does low storage mean?

Welcome to Android Central! Which tablet? If you go to Settings>Storage, does it show that your available internal storage is close to full? If so, then that's what low storage means. If you're unable to open apps that are already installed, then it's likely that those apps need more storage to be able to cache data.
