A backup/restore question. I have three phones A, B, C. A (most recent PREVIOUS phone, Samsung s8+), B (old phone, Samsung s7), C (new phone, Samsung s8 actuve). I have restored the backup from A to C using my Google account and plan to continue this method. I have found legacy data residing on B that I wish to port to C (contact, sms, downloads, audio, apps). If I backup B will the restore to C overwrite data or will it simply add the data from B to C rather than overwriting the data currently on C? Thanks for working on my puzzle?

Sorry about the invite lol, so how are you doing the back up?

Edit : fixed it

I will try that. Now, back to my question.....does a restore completely overwrite previous data. I wish to keep my current data and ADD additional data from another phone source. Can I ADD without OVERWRITING? My best analogy would be like synchronizing. Yeh, that's what I want to do....synchronize my phone with another phone. Can it be done?

If you use a otg adapter with cable between phones should add data not remove existing data
