my verizon samsung note 8 is only letting me make emergency calls

my phone ask for iris identification which i do not have on it, then it went to emergency calls only

There should be a way to skip the biometrics and enter your backup pin/password instead.

Welcome to Android Central! When you say you don't have iris identification on your phone, do you mean you never set it up? Was this always your phone?
