'Patchy' photos taken with Huawei Mate 20 Pro

After I took a picture with items/subjects at some distances away, they appeared 'patchy' or smeared when viewed at 100%. I faced a similar issue with most of the photo modes such as 'Aperture', 'Pro', 'Photo' and 'Night'. Is this issue due to the limitation of all the smartphones?

Yeah cropping in at 100 % will decrease quality on smart phones , i hear the Samsung s20 cropp is pretty good compared to others on the market .

Welcome to Android Central! Are you sure the camera was focusing on those distant objects, or was it focused on something in the foreground and blurring the background objects to simulate depth of field?
