is it safe to put the Prime at airport xray?

I`m planning on a trip and just wondering if its safe to run it under the xray machine. I don`t normally bring my laptop etc when I travel unless iI`m traveling by car,,except my cell phone.

The manuals say that you Must run it through the X-ray machine. Under no circumstances should you take it through the metal detector.

Yup. I took mine on several trips and didn't have any issues with sending it through the xray. I also have to send it and my laptop through an xray machine every day to get into the office where I work (three cheers for government security).

I can imagine running it through the magnetometer (metal detector) would cause some problems, but since it's not an option at the airport it's largely irrelevant.
