Troubles flashing Roms

I'm rooted and have a custom recovery installed. When I try to flash CM9 or CM10 roms nothing will install. Won't go to recovery even when I tell it to reboot to recovery. Need Help.

I'm rooted and have a custom recovery installed. I'm with you so far When I try to flash CM9 or CM10 roms nothing will install.Describe what happens when you try to flash a rom. You do know that you must flash a ROM from recovery? Also, what recovery are you using? Won't go to recovery even when I tell it to reboot to recovery.Well, if you can't get to recovery, how would you flash a ROM? How are you telling it to boot into recovery? Try turning off the tablet, than pressing and holding the power and volume down buttons until you see the recovery screen. Need Help.

Avoid using apps to enter recovery as they seem to cause issues. power down the tablet, hold down power and volume down, than press power up when prompted.
