TP much faster without SD card

I've been copying files directly to my SD card and noticed that the tablet is much, much faster and responsive without the SD card installed. It's practically lag free now. Since the card only has videos, I'm going to see how it works without the card. Anyone else notice this?

Flipboard used to be very laggy. Now it's as smooth as my Galaxy Note 2. All because I removed the SD card.

You mean SD, not microSD, correct? I think people were having issues with an SD card in the keyboard dock after the JB update.

Yes, the microSD card in the tablet. It may be that I need to reformat the card. There's definitely a difference.

oh wow - first I've heard about that. I'll see if mine's any different without the MicroSD

Yeah, the problem most people are having is sd cards or perifrials installed on the keyboard dock.

I formatted my microSD card to exfat. Maybe that's part of the problem. It's just videos, so maybe I'll take it put when I'm not watching anything.
