With vacation season coming up, we will be doing a fair bit of travelling. I don't really want to buy a "kiddie" tablet for my children to use as they will primarily be using it just when travelling in the van.

As such, I'd rather get a protective case for the TF101 and go from there. Any suggestions for a low cost case that offers decent kid-proofing?

Also, it would be great to get a case that still allows for mounting to the keyboard dock, or if not that, at least the ability to take the case on and off easily.

The only cases that I would call kid proof are the Gum Drop cases... Think Otterbox for the Transformer. Its pretty big, ugly, expensive and probably won't work with the keyboard dock but it'll handle anything your lil' hooligans can throw at it (or throw it at). I saw some on eBay and Amazon. Sorry for the lack of linkages... I'm typing from my phone.

Hope that helps!
