Time to dust off the ol' Eee Pad.

I've had my Transformer since late 2011 and over time it has become slower and slower. 2 days ago I performed a factory reset and it's just like the day I bought it.

To perform a factory reset, turn off the device. Press and hold the power and volume down button, then follow the on-screen directions.

You should be aware that anything not backed up, bolted down, saved to a cloud or sd card will be lost. Speaking of sd cards, I've never known a factory reset to erase or format them. But, I'm in the habit of taking them out before a factory reset. Better safe than sorry.

Hopefully this will help some of the less tech-savvy bring their tablets back from the dead.
