So I have both the Asus Zenphone 2 and the Galaxy S6 and because the camera is so dear to me, I decided to to a camera comparison of both phones! Here are the samples I took. All pics were taken in AUTO MODE.

Yup, I personally think the S6 camera is better, but I was really impressed with the Zenphone 2 Low Light mode...made a major difference

How is the speed of opening up the camera and getting a shot compared to the S6?

Im currently on an S6, but looking at this to save some money.

If the phone is in standby (black screen) then just draw a C on the screen, wakes it up & jumps straight to camera. Takes about 2s to wake up & for the camera to be ready on mine (2.3GHz, 4GB ram)

Wow Smooth you got a Zenphone 2 huh, nice!!

Zenphone looks like it lightens the picture over the S6. I like that! Less noise/artifact on S6 shots though which make the pics very sharp and clear! Although the pics of the S6 look better, the ZP2 don't look too bad either! Thanks for the compros Smooth!

The Zenphone 2 does open fast, but I think the S6 opens up faster
Also the S6 snaps faster than the Zenphone 2

No problem!
The pics are not bad, but they are noticeably noisier than the S6, especially when you zoom in
But the Low Light Mode on the Zenphone 2 is pretty amazing! Makes a BIG difference in low light

Great shots Smoothy and honestly what you showed is about the same as what I found. I feel for the price point of this phone its a fair trade off. If you want a high end camera phone you need to go to the higher end of the phone spectrum. Given the other benefits of the phone from processor to memory its a fair trade off.
