In my zenfone 2 it has 2 gb of ram out of which more than 1 gb is always occupied after closing all apps & boosting it.
It is also the same in standby mode.
Should i worry about it or is it normal??

Welcome to the forums. Android actually likes having RAM full as opposed to say, Windows.

This is a good explanation of how Android handles multitasking, processes, RAM, etc automatically for you by one of the authors of Android:

Most of your recently closed apps are still cached in the memory. You can check settings>apps>currently running apps for details. You can close it from there but I don't see any reason why. Those memory are there to be used.
