Help! my Zenfone 2 is not 'Fast Charging' why?

I bought my phone on Amazon and just got it on Tuesday, but it won't charge faster, why? I don't understand? It charges it normally. I already updated the phone, apps and cleared wipe cache portion, still won't charge fast. I'm using the actual charger that came with the phone, any ideas why this is happening?

Which model did you get. The fast charger only comes with the 4GB version. Also, if you didn't get it from a legitimate reseller, they may not have given you the right charger. Check the voltage on it. If all that is correct, what battery percentage are you charging from? It will only fast charge below 70%. Lastly, are you just guessing it's not fast charging or did you actually check if it is?

Yes it was from Amazon itself not any other third party sellers.

I have had other androids phones before and of course I know how go difference between 'Standard Charging' and 'Fast Charging'.

My Zenfone is the 2gb (Ram) 16Gb (storage )
