Sim 2 not installed error?

On occasion...
...actually 3 times so far since acquiring the 16 gig ZF2 I have seen this error.
The fix seems to be shutting the phone off-removing the SIM and cleaning the gold contacts on the SIM.
Would this be a defective SIM or a minor problem with the phone in y'all s opinion?

I'm hoping it's not the phone.
SIM 1 never has any problems at all.

I can swap SIM 2 in the ZF2 to another phone if need be and see if after some time I get a similar error with the ZF2 in the SIM 2 slot with a different SIM card.

I think this is the best troubleshooting option right now.
