Phone won't turn on

My Zenfone 2 arrived today and set it up perfectly. There was an OTA update so I began the update but the phone did not boot back up after it turned off to reboot/update. After this I cannot turn on the phone anymore. It will vibrate and flash the boot screen for less then a second and turn off. Is there a fix for this? I'm leaving on a trip in a day so I can't return it right away as I won't be here to get the replacement.

Are you able to boot into recovery mode? You may be able to flash from an SD Card.
