No Bluetooth

I go in to Settings, turn Bluetooth on, but the phone doesn't see my bluetooth device. Is there a setting / whatever, I need to do to enable bluetooth??

Welcome to Android Central! What Bluetooth device? Do you need to press a Connect button on that device for the phone to see it?

Hey JoeFromSD,

There is no settings under Zenfone you just need to turn on the bluetooth.

If your Bluetooth is malfunctioning run SMMI test to check if your Bluettoth hardware is fine or not.

How to Enter SMMI_TEST (test hardware)

Go to Calculator=>type " .12345+= "
you will be entered to SMMI_TEST

B. Diddy, I don't know if it has connect button, it worked with my last phone,

syther, was that .12345+=

with a period at the start?

OK, did that .12345+=, but I don't see the SMMI_TEST in there, the closest I see is Simcard_test.

Yes! There is a button, I pressed it by accident .. and now I have bluetooth!

Great! Do you mean that there was a button on the Bluetooth device that you were supposed to press?

Yes, silly us, you need to 'Pair' a bluetooth device with a new phone.
