Native google rom

I have the Moto E 2015. And really like the stock android 5.1.
I bought the Asus Zenfone 2 ZE551ML. Running the Asus version of android.
And there is so much difference. And confusing.

Just wondering if there is the stock base google Android OS, v5.0 or v5.1 rom for Asus Zenfone 2 ZE551ML.
I know there will not be 6.0 now.
I see roms such as Cynogenmod.
But is there stock android rom?

Not sure if there are any other rom for the zf2 other than the cyanogenmod. I wouldn't recommend using even the cm for zf2. Ppl faced some weird issues regarding wifi and network connectivity and etc. Do it at your own risk and make sure you know how to get back to the stock asus rom if in case sth goes wrong.

My advice would be to stick with the official stock rom and use a simple home launcher like Google Now launcher or Nova launcher.

A friend have a zenphone switched to cm13 and his battery drains about 20%/hour :O I think the best solution is an stock rom (from asus) but deleting all bloatware and using greenify
