When will it be released in the USA?

Asus has not said. It was released in Taiwan in mid July. The LAST model took four months from the Taiwanese release to hit the US. Use that as a possible guide.

This site has tracked all the Zenfone models that have been certified by the FCC. So far, only the Zenfone 3, the two Deluxe variants and the Zenfone 3 laser have been certified. Hopefully the Ultra gets certified soon.

Just got my ultra in the mail today. I was skeptical but so far it pretty neat. Love the screen size. It fits in my jeans pockets just fine. It's fast for me and even on hspa+ I will see how long this phone lasts but so far it is really impressive.
