Android Central Question

Hello.

I bought this phone and so far I'm pretty happy with it. It has a fingerprint sensor and I've been thinking of using it. I know in the past some phone manufacturers made the mistake of storing the fingerprints with no encryption. I don't think it's the case with this phone running on Android Nougat but I was wondering if there is any way to for sure that this phone stores the information safely.

Thank you for taking the time to read and respond back.

Welcome to the forums! You could definitely contact ASUS customer support to see if they have any definitive answers for you. I would think that it would be safely stored (especially since ASUS specialises in computers too); however I would recommend contacting ASUS.
