why my asus zenfone 3 max can not open any sites that use internet connection?

it says the sites can't be reached and refuse to connect. err_connection_refused. however, some apps like line, whatsapp, instagram, facebook , ucnews and such are just fine while chrome, playstore, operamini, grab cannot be reached.. they refuse to connect .. i have tried using wifi or mobile data but still can not work

Welcome to Android Central! Have you tried other browsers?

Also, try going to Settings>Apps, select your browser, then Storage, then Clear Cache/Clear Data. Does the problem persist?

I read that, but it's not working for me,
Only some sites and some apps are not opening most of the time,there is no internet speed issue, plz give some solutions!!

Ok, and this happens on both wi-fi and mobile data, correct? Are you using a VPN?

I am not having Wi-Fi, but i have tried using vpn, but problem persists!!

What I mean is that if you're using a VPN, then stop using it, and see if it works on your carrier's mobile network. Which carrier are you on?
