I have an ASUS Zenfone 5 which is not rooted. One day, all my photos (taken from the camera) are gone. But my saved pictures are still there. When I installed an app, I usually move it to external sd card using app2sd. It gave me notifications that the app can be moved. But when I tried to move it, the button "Move to SD Card" is greyed out and unclickable. Now I don't have enough space to download apps! I have an ASUS T00F Android 4.4 and my SD card is a sandisk 8gb card. I'll appreciate all kind of help
Welcome to Android Central! Run SD Insight to make sure the card is valid, and not counterfeit. If it's valid, Unmount the card in Settings>Storage, remove the card, and insert it into your computer and run chkdsk to look for bad sectors: http://forums.androidcentral.com/amb...d-sd-card.html
Then, what should I do next? The app showed me all of the datas and I already know the chkdsk command. But I'm afraid I will lose all my files. Will it delete my files??
Try to connect your SD Card to pc, does it recognise your SD Card? Can you move some files from/to your SD Card?
Or just take a pict and put to sd card, does it save?
If it's not, maybe your SD Card is broken.
Are you saying that SD Insight confirmed the card is valid, and not counterfeit?
Yeah, of course. It showed all of my datas. I'll show you the pic later. For the command, do you need to conmect the phone to pc or use a micro sd reader?
That's the pictures. And I've just noticed something. I'm using LINE Camera, but when I move the storage to SD card it says it can't. I'll give the pic later.
