Is Marshmallow available for the Asus ZenPad 8.0 Z380C like it is the Z380KL?

From what I can gather the only difference is the Z380C has an Intel processor and the Z380KL a Qualcomm processor. Which is better I've no idea.

But you can see the Z380KL got Marshmallow (6.0) in 09/2016:

As far as I can tell the cheaper Z380C variant is still suck on Lollipop . The Z380C is now really cheap but Lolllipop is old and Marshmallow brought with it noticeable battery improvements.

I think they should provide the update, but since it's nearly a year passed without it so I don't think they'll provide it in future.

I think it might be Intel's fault. It's possible Intel haven't updated their Android x86 architecture to support Marshmallow. I think Intel have dropped out of Android a little.

Frustrating though to have to buy a new tablet to get an Android update.
