ZenPad 8 won't connect to WiFi

I had to get a new WiFi router from Spectrum because of some issues with the old one. I had no problems with my tablet with the old network. Now it won't connect to the new network SSID. I've tried about 20 times to do it, with the correct password. It only says "Authenticating", and then it says saved, but it won't connect.

Any thoughts?

Did you set the network up with the exact same SSID as before? If so make sure you forget the network on the tablet first, and then try connecting again.

It’s a different SSID because of the new router. I’ve tried it all.

Anybody know of a way to download a firmware update on my computer and transfer it to the tablet?

for future reference, you could have still used the old ssid and password on the new router. easy to change in the router settings.
