With everything on -- ambient display, Bluetooth, wifi, notifications, tilt to wake, etc. -- I get about 4% per hour. I get about 1.5% per hour overnight in DND mode with sleep tracking turned on. So, it's usually at around 30% at 10am in the morning when I jump in the shower and put it on charge (I work from my home office). 30 minutes later and it's at 100%.
The only thing that regularly and consistently burns battery life at a higher rate is when I track walks using GPS on my Nexus 6P. And on occasion, some app will get "stuck" (e.g., Google Fit, Zenwatch Manager, Bluetooth) and it'll burn at a ridiculous rate until I restart it and the phone. That happens every third day or so, so it's not a big deal other than being a bother.
