Soak test question

I have a unlocked bootloader and I am rooted can i just download and install the update?

No. You had to have signed up for the soak test at motodev prior. They then choose who will participate. I got the soak test for Gingerbread last year but did not on this one. Generally they release it to everyone 3-5 days after the soak test so you should have it by the end of the week.

The download is pending on my phone right now i have not hit download just don't want to brick

I read another post where a developer bricked his device installing the new OTA update, w/ an unlocked BL but he was able to fix it.
