Gallery doesnt play old slow mo videos correctly

Galaxy Note 9

Was looking through some older files, stuff taken a year ago, and my slow mo videos are all screwed up. When the slow mo is supposed to occur, the video jitters and freezes, then continues at normal speed, but the sound stays slowed down.

I took a new video just now and its fine so what happened to my old files?

I have a screen recording of the behavior as well.

Slow motion videos save to the gallery in a way that they can be edited or tweaked within the gallery when viewing them and need to be saved as a regular video before getting moved. If not they don't play correctly.
