Is Ferrari building Maseratis though? Or is Maserati building Maseratis? Same question with Dihatsu. If Honda were to buy Maserati tomorrow it doesn't mean Maserati is all-the-sudden Honda durable in 5, 10, or 15 years unless Honda starts dictating how the vehicles are built. I don't have the interest to research it so perhaps Ferrari is actually building Maseratis and perhaps Maserati is not an autonomous brand of Ferrari and perhaps Astin is not an autonomous brand of Dihatsu.
I'd still rather have a DB9 than anything Maserati offers.
