Contacts Sync

I have about 15k contacts in my phone. Those contacts are synced through 2 different Gmail accounts. I know this is not normal, and I know that android is not made to handle this many contacts. Just wondering why this phone can't seem to sync them all. I have a few other phones and they sync up and manage the contacts very well.

The Axon 7 gets about half way though and quits. I don't get a sync error, just mising several contacts. Any ideas? I really don't want to go back to my Note 4.

I have decided the Axon can't handle all my contacts. Is there anyway to export 1 group of contacts stored within Gmail? I have several groups of contacts stored to 1 email address. I would like to export only 1 group (100 members). I'm going to use the Axon as my personal phone and just need to import my friends and family.
