So, I've rooted my NC. I did this using Autonooter, so it also installed a number of other bits. I installed Perfect Viewer through the Android Market. I can go to Softkeys (via Extras) and run it. How do I make it appear on the Extras page? Please let me know if I've missed this answer somewhere... I searched without finding it. Thanks in advance.

You need to reboot the NC to get apps to show up in Extras.

Alternatively you could install a launcher program like ADW, Launcher Pro, Zeem, etc which will update with new apps without rebooting.

Ah, there it is. That works. Thanks for the reply. All but one app have appeared now in "Extras". The lone holdout is QuickOffice Connect. For some reason, this one doesn't appear even after restarts. Any suggestions on this one? I suppose it might be a special case, as there is a "lite" version of it on the Nook from the factory.
