I asked on another thread but I just want to be clear.

I can use the same Google account for phone/nook?

I was not sure so I used a different account at first but after playing with this I am finding that there are some of my paid apps I like that I now want on the Nook. It would be nice to not have to buy these all over again so I want to attach this to the same account.

Is there anyway to change accounts other than a deregister/clear? Not that this is a huge deal really.

I understand there is a drop down when installing from android,market.com to tell it what device to send to but I was wondering if all the app licenses and updates etc.. work independently with no problems on two devices. I am just unsure how the licensing works this way.

Thanks guys.

Yes. I use the same Google account on my Evo and Nook Color. You can even re-download apps you purchased on your phone on the Nook Color at no charge, something I didn't realize would be the case when I bought the Nook Color.

Part two of the question. If I deregister and clear do I need to re=root it?
I don't believe so but it cannot hurt to ask.
