Nook Froyo Sound Question (clicking)

Thanks everyone for all the great info on this site. I have a Nook Color with Froyo installed (0.6.8). Everything is working great and I don't have any complaints. I do have a question about the sounds. I saw on the BN forums that people have taken back their Nooks for sound issues. My sounds seems to be working fine except for something weird I have noticed. I am not sure if this is a headphone/software issue or a defective unit. This happens when I listen to Pandora. When a song ends and it goes to another, the headphone port sounds like it shuts off and makes some clicking noises, then comes back on with a few noises and plays the next song. No problems while playing, just between tracks like it's shutting the headphone port off. Is this common or do I have a defective unit?
