IMHO the Nook app is pathetic compared to the "real thing"
I had the CM7 on an SD card and found it interesting, but ended up removing it permanently so i could use the Nook for the purpose I had originally bought it.
The functionality under CM7 was seriously hampered by lack of hardware in the Nook itself. I later bought a Galaxy Tab. And for reading I alternate between Tab (moon+ reader) and the nook, synching by chapter.

Why can't you still run that when on CM7?
There is a Nook app that is there with CM7 and you can log onto BaN's app for your books etc..
When that is running it is the exact same reader etc... as the stock Nook library etc...
