I've done the autonooter for a couple friends. Worked fine. That was a little while back. Now I see you can do cm7 or honeycomb without rooting? don't want too many glitches since this friend doesn't know that much about any of this.

The safest way might be to install either CM7 or HC on a SD card and leave the stock firmware untouched. There are threads for both in this forum.

I was thinking cm7 on internal would be best. I'm a bit of a noob, so I'm looking for easy.

CM7 would be perfect with the update to the nook app and the edit of build.prop for netflix! Dont see how anyone could go wrong with that. :D

It depends why that have the Nook. If they bought as a book reader than just root 1.2, and the market, etc. If they bought as a cheap tablet and don't care that much about reading B&N books than IMHO CM7 in EMMC is the way to go. IMHO HC on the NC is still too immature and I prefer not to be tied to a SD card.
