wmv player on cm7

Players I have tried running wmv files are all scrambled...what do folks use successfully? Did you have to change any settings?

I googled "wmv player android", I came up with Windows Media Player at the Android market for a fee and Moboplayer which is free. I have not tried either. Which players have you tried?

Yeah I did that and tried them...they don't seem to work for wmv very well. That was the crux of my post. I appreciate the reply...

Sounds like your WMV is encrypted/has DRM...in that case, nothing is going to help.

I have tried .mkv and .mp4 DRM-Free (I know 'cuz I made 'em myself) encoded with H.264 and I haven't had much luck playing them. Rockplayer (i think? i tried a bunch) had the most luck, but was useless with hardware encoding and stuttered on software encoding. Bummer. Good luck, and let me know if you find anything that works.
