Well, everyeone was expecting it, but it still sucks:

Really to bad because hardware wise I really think it was much more impressive than the Kindle. Content will still be supported, and they aren't rulling out future colaboration with other hardware vendors to create nook branded color tablets. It's just they won't be making the color tablets themselves, and all production has stopped on the current Nook HD tablets.

Don't worry because we're about to have a whole lot of modding support! These tablets are such sweet deals right now.
