How to drag and drop music and pics from laptop to Nook tablet?

I want to copy files (by drag-and-drop or other means) from the laptop to my Nook tablet. But when I connect the Nook to my laptop, the laptop sees it as a CD drive! Huh??? How can I make my laptop see the SD card in my Nook, with the directories I need to store music, pics, etc?

(Newbie here with a Nook Color with "root my nook color" card which I am extremely happy with because I can now travel without my laptop.)

Figured it out. When you connect the Nook to the computer, click "USB storage", then the computer will see the sd card in the Nook, and you can copy files to the sd card.
