I just my Note 4 a few days ago. On my battery life screen, the more it is charges, the lower the battery life shows. Example...when it it charged to 98% my battery life shows 5 minutes but when it is at 25% it will show something like 1 say, 15 hours. It's like the battery life time

That means that it's been 14 hours since you last fully charged. It's taken 14 hours to go from 100% to 30%.

When you're at 100% and it says 2 minutes, it means that you've been off the charger for 2 minutes, and are still at 100%.

Welcome to Android Central! Are you sure it's not just telling you how much time it's been on battery? Can you show us a screenshot? http://forums.androidcentral.com/amb...d-central.html

    Welcome to the forums.
You could almost compare the that graph like a fuel tank for a car. It starts at full and slowly goes empty.

This is what it looked like earlier. I am sure I don't have 14 hours on 30% battery. At 100% is will show 2 minutes.

    Thanks for all the help.

Is there any way I can change it so that it will show me how much battery is left?

I know on the s5, if you go to ultra power save mode (in the settings menu --> power saving) you can see how long your battery has left on standby. It presents on the screen. I dont think there is a way to do this in regular mode, but perhaps if you want to check it you can just switch it over to power save for a second.

Keep in mind, though, that the est time they give you is if your phone isnt being used in that time.

This can only be estimated, based on your average usage. GSam Battery Monitor can give you these kinds of estimates. The new battery menu in Lollipop (which is kind of glitchy to begin with) does give you a general estimate of when the battery will die, but this can always change if you use the phone more or less than usual.
