Battery Skip's procentage

Yesterday I bought a new Samsung S3 battery, but in the morning I put the phone on charging , but I saw that the phone skips the procentage 98% directly to 100% , and after unplug goes down to 98% again , please help me .

Plug it in again, wait until it gets to 100%, then leave it charging for another 30 minutes. When you unplug the charger, it should show 100%.

(Due to the way state of charge is measured, as soon as the phone registers 100%, it's actually at about 98%. That's just how electricity works - you can't charge a battery unless the charging voltage is higher than the battery voltage, and the state of charge is a measure of the voltage - which is higher [so it indicates more charge than there really is] when the charger is connected.)
