Will changing the battery remedy the red light of death?

red light of death?

I had my phone charging then when I came back and it just had a red light flashing and the screen wouldn't turn on, ive tried all the fixes ive seen online. will it work if I get the battery changed?

What device is it?
If the battery is removable, you can go that route see if that helps.
You can also let it charge for an hour or so and unplug it, let it sit for a few hours and try to turn it on.
