virus behind battery draining fast ?

yesterday i visited the site youporn and pornhub on my smartphone . some popup appeared on screen . i didn't click it , i pressed the back button of my smartphone and next i see some virus scanner or something like that appearing on screen . i quickly closed the open app on which i was watching porn . last night my battery was around 17% , when i woke up the battery was 0 . this usually doesn't happen if i go to sleep with less than 20 % battery usually i lose around 5 to 6 % and the phone is still on during the morning .

Is my phone infected with virus ? is this the reason why battery is draining fast ? i have 360 anti virus , i have scanned the phone with it , it says no threat detected . why then battery draining so fast ? this has never happened before .

Re: virus behind battery draining fast ?

Doubtful. You have to accept the installation of a malware package, which is why they often try to fool you by telling you that you have a virus, and to install some "antivirus app." There are various reasons why battery might have drained more quickly overnight--perhaps some app was malfunctioning (focus on "RAM booster" apps like Clean Master, which are generally useless and often counterproductive), or the cell signal temporarily worsened. In general, it's not a great idea to let your phone sit overnight at such a low battery level. To avoid shortening your battery's overall lifespan, avoid deep discharges--make a habit of charging up once it gets down to 30-40%.
