I have read some articles and most of them say that android users should charge their phone from 20-80% only, and we shouldn't drain it and fully charge so it would increase its life.
So I was convinced to do the same thing. Is this true? I'm really confuse about which of them I should follow. Help me please

I've read that it's good to keep them as charged as can be. I've read that it's good to let them fully discharge about once a month, and I've read that you should keep them somewhere in the middle all the time.

It may be just voodoo. I think it's generally accepted that fast charging your battery a bunch is not great for the lifespan, and leaving it discharged is also a bad thing to do. I also think that cycling the battery is what wears it down. I'd guess that using the 60% of the battery between 20% and 80% only will have more charges than using it from 100% to 10% (maybe by 30%?). I'd guess that it's probably a wash if it does actually increase battery life since you'll have more charge cycles?

I'm not an electrical engineer or anything, so take this with a grain of salt. That's what I try to do and my batteries seem to last.

I have read too that it's okay to charge many times but just don't make it up to 100%, because a cycle is equal to 0-100% and android batteries has only 300-500 cycles. Lol, now I'm confused. By the way, thank you for the info!
