i've been running BBM since release and updated to the latest version today and it's definitely optimized for Android now in terms of speed overall (updates list loads faster, selecting chats within a group loads faster too) but still has a kink:
when i try to leave a group (as i am the only member) and delete it, it remained in my lists. after uninstalling / reinstalling BBM, it remedied the pesky groups sticking around!
also, my chats, contacts, and groups were restored after some time. (tho, some avatars for some groups weren't restored)
