Doubtful. They have to build off the original ROM which is 4.1.Is there a TW rom out there I could use if this doesn't work?
Ok I did it using SlimBean. It booted but the only issue is that there is no google play store - how do I get that back? I am going to try and flash paranoid as well to see what it holds. Haven't tried the Fit Gear yet...
So all of the superuser, CWM manager are all gone?
The browser doesn't work.
Gmail doesn't work
You need CWM Recovery version 6.0.4.4+
This recovery is more or less useless now. Files will still be hosted though.
So I need to flash with Odin again?
On that page,[CWM][Repo]ClockWorkMod Recovery - ||Kit-Kat… | Galaxy S II | XDA Forum it says
What gives?
yup rebooted and everything is back to normal. Except I am still using 4.1.2...
Hey man, thanks for all your help tonight. I am off to bed. I will pick this up again tomorrow and hopefully there is something out there that works!
Ok, back at it. I need to find a build that is going to be jellybean 4.3 or KitKat 4.4 that will work with the S2 GT-i9100. Is there a stable ROM out there that has been tested on this phone?
Can you post the CM11 link please? Also, does it come with GAPPS?
Enjoy work the best you can and get back to me when you can. Work comes first!
Ok thanks.
I am going to download the Basketbuild for GAPP in the links - should I just pick STANDARD?
As for the CyanogenMod Downloads
Can I pick any of them? Does Nightly mean it hasn't been tested?
I tried one of the CM mods and it told me my keyboard was disabled?!?! Is that a GAPPs issue or the ROM?
