need a new tablet

My Nexus 9 is dying, and I had hoped Google would release a new tablet in 2016 but no such luck

What is the best tablet I can get right now or perhaps in the begining of 2017?

I want to know which tablet other users can recommend.
It's got to be new, ie released in 2016 (or going to be in 2017).
(I prefer a Google made one, but there isn't a new one in their lineup)
