I am researching a new phone, because my current Samsung Galaxy core prime is slow and still on android 5.1.1 Lollipop.

After searching, I have narrowed my search down to a quite long list of phones. I am trying to stay under $500.

Here is the list of possible phones:
    • OnePlus 5
    • OnePlus 3T
    • Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge (Carrier has a good deal on them)
    • Motorola Moto G5 Plus
    • ZTE Axon 7
    • Nokia 6

I first want to determine which OnePlus phone is better.

I want a battery that is able to survive average daily usage. I charge my phone every night btw.

The only reason the ZTE Axon 7 is still on this list is because I MAY want to get into Daydream VR. If I choose the S7 Edge, I'll just go with a Gear VR later.

NFC is favored, but not a must have.

I take videos and pictures quite a lot, so I am taking looks at the camera.

Thanks for any help in finding whichever one is best!

Out of that list, with your priorities, the S7 Edge is the only choice. OnePlus 5 is a distant second.

If photography is your thing, you may want to throw the LG V20 into the mix as well. It has some of the best manual controls for photo and video out there. Reviewers dock it for auto mode image quality, but manual mode yields better results even if auto exposing.

Plus it's a beast of a phone all around.

I went to the t-mobile store earlier today and happened to see a V20, it indeed is a very nice phone.

Hi! Out of the OP phones, it's difficult to say which is best, IMO at least! The 5 supposedly takes awesome pictures, so that is something. It's rated highly for that. The OP 3T is probably the best bang for your buck when it comes to smartphone bargains.

My mom owns the S6 Edge and her camera is superb; so I can only imagine the quality of the S7 Edge. I think that is a superbly unique line of phones - check 'em out! You can customize the edge screen to your liking and I think that was very innovative of Samsung. Only thing is, screen protectors for curved phones can be difficult to install and look "good (I own an Honor 8, so I kind of have this issue as well)." But it's worth it for what you're getting.

Let us know what you decide!
