Samsung Galaxy 3 - Doesn't charge with charger & other strange problem
So I've ust bought my first touchscreen phone, it's a Samsung Galaxy 3.
I plugged the charger into it and nothing happened. So I turned off the phone and re-plugged the charger in and this time a battery icon temporarily appeared and faded out. I left the phone for an hour and came back to turn on the phone (while it was still plugged in with charger), but the phone didn't turn on.
I then took the charger out and was able to turn on the phone but the battery power was still at 44%.
I'm assuming this has something to do with the charger? I looked at the small port you plug into the phone and saw that there were 4 pins and there seemed to be a space in the middle for a 5th pin? I looked into the phone's own slot and saw there were 6 tiny pins. Could the charger somehow be incompatible?
Any suggestions?
