VNC Issue

Hi,

I've got Real VNC Server Installed on my Windows 7 Laptop & the VNC Viewer for Chrome extension installed on my Acer C720 Chromebook, but I'm unable to VNC into my Windows Laptop from my Chromebook. I must have spent a good 30 mins trying to get VNC working, I really want VNC working for the Internet access feature so I can VNC into my Windows Laptop while I'm not at home & not just on my Private Wifi.

Is there a trick to getting VNC working that I'm missing?

P.S. I watched a video on YouTube by the Real VNC Team, but that didn't hep much & all the instructions/help from Real VNC haven't shed any light onto what I'm doing wrong.

For what you want to accomplish have you thought about or tried Google/chrome remote desktop? It will accomplish the same thing and is very simple to setup.

I've got Chrome Remote installed, but didn't realize that it was able to be used over the Internet.

Yes you can. I use it for that all the time.
