Used to have an Honor 7 that had the same pop up but thought I'd fixed the issue when I upgraded. This phone is less than a week old and it's happened again?

Downloaded 4 different virus scanners / malware checkers one after the other and not one could find anything?

I only go on trusted sites I know and don't have broad internet activity shall we say so I'm puzzled as to what's going on!

    Help!

That's a scare-tactic popup ad related to the site you're browsing -- it's not malware (although the app they want you to install might be). You mentioned only going on trusted sites -- how sure are you that you can trust them? Popup ads like these aren't limited to porn sites -- I've seen them crop up on many clickbait sites as well.

Clear the Chrome cache and data in Settings>Apps, and also clear out your desktop Chrome browser's browsing history and cookies "From the Beginning of Time." Then see if it keeps happening. Keep track of which sites seem to trigger the popup, and avoid them.
